Our Mission Statement
The objectives of the Gateway Hound Club shall be:
a) to further the advancement of all Hound Breeds;
b) to do all in it's power to protect and advance the interests of
*dog shows;
*other events applicable to the Hound breeds;
*and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at such events;
c) to conduct
*sanctioned matches;
*dog shows;
*any other event for which the club is eligible under the Rules and Regulations of The American Kennel Club;
d) to promote ethical standards and good sportsmanship among its members in all matters relating to the breeding and exhibition of dogs.

We welcome your membership inquiries, as well as open our meetings to newcomers who are interested in owning, showing or breeding any of the AKC Recognized Hound Breeds. We also offer a FREE club membership to Jr. Showmanship handlers who are showing AKC Recognized Hound Breeds.
